Maxwell first moved to Austin in 1992 and has been in love with this great city ever since. He is a veteran of the greater Austin real estate market and has experience representing both buyers and sellers. He also has experience dealing with new construction projects. Maxwell is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Prior to real estate, Maxwell worked in the technology industry at Microsoft and Dell. He has extensive experience in contract negotiation and is the guy you want on your side of the table when the going gets tough!
Maxwell is also a volunteer event leader in Hill Country Outdoors, voted "Best Outdoor Event Club" by the Austin Chronicle Reader's Poll in 2005. Click the link below to see what fantastic events are happening on the HCO calendar this month.
When he's not negotiating for our clients, he can be found leading groups of Austinites to wine tastings, hikes, camp outs, canoe and kayak trips or some of the best restaurants the city has to offer. All of our clients get a complimentary trial membership in the club (over 600 members now!) and it's a great way to meet people if you're new to town. Maxwell also is on the Agent Leadership Council for Keller Williams's Northwest Market Center. Since KW is an "agent run" company, this allows Maxwell to vote on policies and procedures that affect the other agents and our clients.
Jennifer Semler is the newest addition to the Austin A Plus Homes Team. Jennifer has over 10 years of real estate experience under her belt! As a former onsite rep for D R Horton, she gained valuable knowledge and experience on the nuances of negotiating with new home builders. So, if a new home is in your future, Jennifer is the girl you need to talk to. Jennifer lives with her two boys Jaden and Mason in Cedar Park. When she's not working with clients, Jennifer is a competitive tennis player and enjoys running, golf and enjoying the wonderful outdoors of the Texas Hill Country.
Lynn is a NATIVE AUSTINITE! Lynn graduated from Texas A&M University (we try not to hold that against her) with an emphasis in Real Estate. She has been involved in real estate in one capacity or another virtually all her life. Her father is a well respected local builder ( www.casabellahomesonline.com ) and she grew up walking job sites and working in her father's office. She has also worked as an appraiser and done time in the mortgage industry. Lynn enjoys spending time with Zinfandel the office Shar Pei, hiking, and yoga.
Zinfandel, (or Zinny to her close friends) the office Pei, is the most loveable of the whole cast of characters you'll get to work with. She dutifully stamps most contracts and agreements with her paw print of approval.
The City of Austin has been named the best place to do business by several nationally recognized publications, best place to live and most recently, the best city for dating. What else can you ask for!?!?
Austin's housing prices, although high by Texas standards, are very inexpensive for folks relocating to the area from other parts of the US. If you want to live in central Austin with easy access to the clubs and restaurants that give Austin it's reputation, you'll pay prices similar to other, more expensive states. If you're willing to drive a few minutes, then you can often find brand new 3/4 bedroom homes for the mid 100's.
